Soooo it's Saturday Night and I'm 'home' before midnight.. what a shock. However me and Jodie did manage to have a really fun night. Let me just say how much I heart Columbus:) The great thing is, is that because I'm in a HUGE city there is actual stuff to do! (OMG..what a concept) You can take a bus, cab or just walk to whatever interests you. It feels like a good stepping stone to New York. There also doesn't seem to be much pressure on people if they don't want to drink. I believe that is due to where I am living; the people here are really laid back, so not sketch.

So tonite Jodie and I rode the COTA bus system, which is an adventure in itself. There was this really weird woman that kept following us, and when we thought we lost her, we ended up seeing her at a different stop! Anyway, before that all these cool looking kids got on the bus, and this really hot guy with a camera stood by me:) All the kids were wearing converse type shoes and had that "edge". At that moment it felt like home:) Then we got off the bus and walked to the Via Colori, a street painting festival! It was so awesome! All the companies in Columbus got a space of gravel and chalked up some pretty wicked masterpieces. At which point, Jodie and I both wished we owned a digital camera, or brought our free OSU crappy convocation disposable ones. There was music playing (bonus!), artists selling stuff (like Cain Park Arts Fest but smaller and better) and cute guys everywhere! hehe.. there was even this awful couple that decided to take the lyrics, "dance to the music" just a bit to far. They were quite drunk, and before you knew it the guy dropped the girl and her beer spilt all over her and any unfortunate music lover near by. It was such a sight, at which point me and Jodie both wished we have yet another digital camera. This one different than the first one! (actually maybe i'll buy one really soon.. b/c my grandma rocks and is sending me money..plus my mom sold the house that I helped paint and I get a niice cut)

I ended up leaving with a stolen candle and a cool necklace. (side note.. I lost ALL the jewelry I ever owned, except the really expensive stuff, and am now slowly replacing it) Then we realized that the buses that go back to campus stop running after 10:30.. so we hoped in a cab and for about $6 (ouch) safely arrived back at campus when the rest of the world was going out to party.

So I've definitely lost about 20lbs..which is amazing.. and it's nice having guys look at me and hit on me! yes hit on me:) haha.. anyway.. i'm going to bed because I have to do a crap load of studying and reading tomorrow.

Other side note: Montana has really BIG mountains..not just one a lot of them!
Live to Love,
Cayce
