Nablopomo 2023 - Day 3
Still behind on my entries. I'm not online as much over the weekends, as my time is more devoted to other ventures. Anyway. Here we go.
Day 3 - What show from your childhood would you love to bring back?
This is a difficult question to answer. There are a lot of shows that I enjoyed in my younger years. Not sure I'd love to have any of them brought back. Of course, if they were, they would have to be the same actors, not reboots.
Some of the shows I enjoyed in my younger years were The Pretender, Jake & the Fatman, Midnight Caller, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Highlander, Kung Fu: the Next Generation, Matt Houston, Time Trax, McMillan & Wife, The Magician, Streets of San Francisco, Battlestar Galactica (original version), Mod Squad, Starsky & Hutch, Emergency; to name a few. I loved all of these shows and would love to have them back, WITH the original actors, of course, which couldn't be done because some of these actors have passed, and then, of course, most of these actors are older and couldn't pull it off anymore.
One other thing that would be nice to bring back are the cartoons I watched when I was growing up. I hadn't thought of this until I saw Dizzo's entry, but programming for children was far better when I was younger than what I see on TV nowadays. Especially the cartoons. We had great cartoons. I'd love to see them back. Bugs Bunny and company was the best. All of them were.
