Nablopomo 2023 - Day 2
WOW! It's been awhile since I posted anything on LJ. Seems weird. The blog first tried to get me to Post something on their new format. Yuck. Won't have it. Going back to the familiar, older way of posting. Anywho. Here we go.
Nablopomo 2023 Day 2: When did you create your LJ, and what brought you here? How did you get your username? Has it changed?
I joined LJ in 2009, midway through Season 4 of Supernatural. I joined because S4's Dean's return from Hell storyline was really affecting me and I needed to talk to others about the season, about life, about everything Supernatural. I found a couple blogs, i.e., The Winchester Family Business, and I discovered a couple LJ SPN journals. I lurked for a couple of months, but then one of the LJ journals I was following went private for Friends Only, so I was forced to join if I wanted to continue viewing that blog, and the rest shall we say is history.
My username? I wanted to highlight the two things I loved most in the series, Dean and Baby. So, I put the nickname of Baby (metallicar) and joined it with Dean and came up with metallidean_grl. Girl added at the end because I'm a total Dean girl. I do love Sam, don't get me wrong, but heart and soul belong to Dean.
My name has not changed, nor will it ever. Still love Baby and Dean. Always will. Despite the years, that will never change.
