Just curious. Respond here or in your own LJ. (Does this mean, I'm starting a meme?)

My answer's a little complicated:

Audiobook: I finished Hyperion a few hours ago while cleaning my car. I liked it so much, I just downloaded The Fall of Hyperion, but I haven't started it yet.

Regular Book: The Somnambulist, which I think I've posted about ( Read more... )

I'm starting Anderson Cooper's book Dispatches from the Edge on my iPhone with the Kindle app. I hear it's really good.

Regular Book: Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn, though not with any real enthusiasm.

Gaming Stuff: Hollow Earth Expedition, A Song of Ice and Fire, and Castles & Crusades. Plus a bunch of Star Wars stuff. In other words, the usual mish-mash.

Just finished reading a book on the Cold War (my essential travel boredom relief long book for my last course) and this morning I picked up Don Watson's Recollections of a Bleeding Heart, a biography of Paul Keating, one of Australia's greatest Prime Ministers and easily my personal favourite.

Regular: Bernard Cornwell's Agincourt. I've also got a re-read of Game of Thrones going.

Gaming: Player's Handbook 2 for a campaign starting in a couple weeks, along with other 4E books as character ideas pop into my head.

The four books of Hyperion (& Endymion) constitute one of my favorite series. Good pick! Second two books are very different, but also good.

I am reading:
Books:
Secret Ingredients: The New Yorker Book of Food and Drink

Periodical: The Economist, semi regularly.

Audio:
Podcasts of the Economist, and Marketplace.
