This corn is an angel

This is the second day in a row that I've driven all the way to work only to find out that I can't actually work. Last Friday we started having problems with our server, so we got to leave early. Then I went into work yesterday, and the server still wasn't fixed, and I got to leave right away. Today, I go in and find that the computers are totally messed up. My boss left me a phone message and explained that a fireman called her last night at 1 AM. Someone had reported that they saw smoking coming out of our office. The fireman said the smoke was coming from our computer room, and he had to remove a battery and shut some things down. I guess some people from the Chicago office will be coming down later this afternoon to check things out. Hopefully we should know what's going on by then. Hey, I'll gladly take a day (or two) off of work, but this is our really busy time of the year. Plus we had to cancel a meeting for tonight, and this makes it the second time we've had to cancel it. And it's annoying to get up early, shower, do my hair and make-up, drive for a half hour then just turn around. I really shouldn't complain because I'm home now not having to do anything, and there could have been a serious fire.

Different subject...I went to the movies with my sister this weekend and saw Dan in Real Life and The Darjeeling Limited. Dan in Real Life was okay. It wasn't the greatest, but I enjoyed it, and I always like Steve Carell. I'm still thinking about The Darjeeling Limited. I liked it, but I'm trying to figure out how much I liked it. I'm a big fan of Wes Anderson's movies, and I'm not sure how much I liked this one compared to his other films.

Life...I've been feeling pretty down about how things are going or not going. I would like to make some changes, but I don't even know where to start.
