When I sleep, I tend to wake up numerous times throughout the night and morning. This makes it easier for me to remember my dreams because I'll wake up during the middle or the end of them. However, since I never write my dreams down, I usually forget them after a couple of days. The dreams that usually stick with me are ones that feel so real or are really disturbing.
This past week, I've had two dreams about Beauty and the Geek. I like the show, but not so much that I should be having multiple dreams about it. The first dream I had was kind of disturbing. Even though I can remember my dreams in good detail, I suck at trying to explain them. I won't go into too much description, but the first one involved: Scooter being sexually molested by his father; me fighing with Jennylee over Nate; three bald, tiny, little girls (this was before Britney shaved her head) wearing white dresses, running around, and singing a song in French; a huge, hairy, black monster falling from a tree and trying to kill everyone. So fucking bizarre.
The dream I had last night was much more pleasant and felt so real. The whole cast was at a mansion (which was apparently my house). I ended up going off alone with Scooter. We went to a room that he called "The pancake room" and looked at the ocean. I made a comment about how beautiful the ocean looked, and he said that I was even more beautiful (yes, I know that was extremely cheesy). At one point, he kissed my hand and then my arm, but before anything else could happen, I woke up. I really, really liked him in that dream, and it's crazy how strong my feelings were. I can't even explain how I felt when I woke up. It reminds me of a quote from The Science of Sleep: "In dreams, emotions are overwhelming."
It seems like anytime I have a dream about a guy that I like, I wake up before anything happens. When it's a dream about someone I don't like, things go way too far. In the past, I've had sex dreams about Jack Black, Naomi Campbell, and Hugh Hefner. So wrong.
