Social justice is a joke.
I've watched abuse of these terms rip apart friend groups lately. A local leather group manipulated them in order to silence me when I called out one of their leaders.
I do need to learn to keep my mouth shut. It never gets me anywhere.
I say social justice is a joke because it is. It's an offshoot of white liberalism and nothing more. The same colorblind education we received with a shiny "progressive" veneer.
You want some fucking change you need to embrace it RADICALLY. Prepare for shit to get hard. Prepare for people to die. I know it's sucks but it's not even about deserving it's about there has never been a bloodless revolution in history.
I'm not discounting the people who give a fuck. If all you can do to show you give a fuck is share articles on social media that's cool. I'm not here to police how people give a fuck.
But if you find it so fuckin hard to believe that your friend could have acted like an abusive jack hole and you can use social justice phrasing to justify it then your give a fuck becomes devalued to me.
I mean. I suck too. That's my point. None of us have a story that's the most tragic. We all have our triumphs and failures. We live and we die. That's it. We give a fuck and then our give a fuck turns and kicks us in the face. I guess I can thank my brother and the rest of my family for that. Never was fooled into thinking there was a safe, accepting place anywhere. Always with one foot out the door.
