East Coast Swing, Pumpkin Head, and Design

Oct 21, 2005 22:57

this week has been ridiculous... very long, very painful at times... a little bit of exhilaration when I know I've finished an assignment ~3.5 minutes before it's due... so I guess I feel like I've been surviving on adrenaline right now.

tonight was fun. Its ridiculous, but I hadnt been to Ballroom yet this year... and I had to force myself to go tonight... I just felt like lying on the couch and doing nothing. But I guilt tripped myself into going and I'm SO glad I did! I had an excellent time. We're doing East Coast Swing right now and there were a lot of new guys there, so every girl helped improve the ratio... It was excellent tho. Lots and LOTS of fun! oh, and Colin was there! he said some track girls invited him, and apparently it was a darn good invite, cuz he showed up! which totally surprised/excited me.

and then I got back here and forced Amanda to let me paint her toenails the lightest shade of pink I own (Heidi, that nude shade you got me!) and she's still kinda whiny about how it shines... she's a horrible girl. But then I carved a Pumpkin! His name is not Peter, however he looks very cute. Maybe his name should be Pumpkin Head. I like that name. I wanted something prestigious and dignified like Percival. However, Pumpkin Head is not a Percival. He is a Pumpkin Head, through and through.

So on that note, I shall continue to scrounge for food, do a little bit more hw like a good little tool, and then maybe make Brian hang out w/ me... and yes, I realize it's after 11... but you'll have that...
