"Homework is Over-rated"
Havn't updated in awhile, but here's something.
Had my first Calc III test today. It went ok, but there were some frustrating aspects when you don't get numbers to work out right. RA letters went out today, so all those who applied to be RA's were either accepted and placed into a hall or denyed. I know 2 of the new staff members for next year. It's going to be such a change. I really love my staff and having all but 2 change next year including my supervisor is a little scary. I hope we can keep the same enthusiasm and staff togetherness that we have going now.
Managing my time has been really difficult lately. I have each one of my classes dragging me in a different direction and then I still need that time when I can just stop and breathe. Those have been my weekends, but during the week, I tend to become a little burned out.
Unfortunately, I will not be getting a weekend off until spring break. :( I will however, be out of town this weekend. It's for an RA conference though, so it's not like it's just me getting out of Platteville. We have one last conferene tournament the last weekend in Feb. where 8 staff members requested to have off. Only 6 of us can be gone on any given weekend. Of the 8, 5 of them absolutely had to have off, so with me not actualy being able to compete, I said I would stay in town. Kinda sucks because sometimes I just want to get away. It was nice last semester thinking that I woulda been able to escape to McGregor to hang out with Tracy, but obviously that didn't work. He doesn't talk to me at all any more anyways. It's kinda sad, but oh well.
Alright, I think I'm going to get some early sleep and get up early to do homework because I'm just done after that test. So my goal would be to get up at 6:30 or so. We'll see. I've been having trouble getting up and actually getting to work.
