Well on Monday I had my polygraph test. It was not fun. The polygraph guy was really nice and he did try to make me feel less nervous. I kept having an emotional response to a question that mentioned rape. It was " Have you ever committed a serious crime such as: murder, rape, arson, etc etc." For those that don't know, I was raped when I was 10. A

your going to be a police officer? or did I miss something here/ I didn't realize the state of florida makes you do a polygraph to get the job? I thought that was illegal...

No, I'll be doing police dispatch. Taking 911 calls, etc. As far as I know, polygraphs just aren't admissable in court, but they're not illegal to use for employment. My mom in law had one before she could get her job as a nanny.

In Massachusetts it's illegal to polygraph for a job. In "these times " I just moved to Florida , I'll learn their laws in time....haha.

they are fun to watch. what night did you go out? I think I went on a saturday. There was gothness galore. lol I believe wednesday is the real day for all that, but I've never been on a wed. Too much crap to do during the week.

We went on a thursday night. Hmm , maybe I'll have to try wednesday night then... we also went down around there to a martini bar Saturday night and noticed amidst our walking around that the I-bar was packed ( naturally-saturday night) and there were more gothy types then (ultimately the industrial music was happening which I approve of).
