I hate Expressive designs, so why am I using one?
Surely there must be some way I can take this thing, get rid of the lame picture at the top and replace it with something appropos to ME?
I hate that Livejournal templates are all so cutesy, every new one that comes out is cutesy or if not cutesy, tame, and if not tame, wild in a fake-wild way.
More black pages damnit, these things won't even let you change the colour of your background. Is there a community where the SixApart design mavens cluster so I can join it, and start calmly and politely giving them salient design advice, such as, leave the VOX shit on VOX?
Grrrrrr. And why is the ONLY template with a customisable sidebar Smooth Sailing? Odds are you'll come here tomorrow and there it will be again, I keep looking for a new one that will let me use more graphics but none of them let you add sidebar boxes with your own text. But Smooth Sailing has no place for a headline graphic and it's lame looking, too many bars, not enough of something I can't quite put in words.
But this Scribe thing is preeee-tentious. I'm going to try to mutilate it and make it better but I need expert brains to pick first.
