Following up on The Night Circus, book and game

I've now read the book - and enjoyed it very much; it definitely lives up to the advance press - and I have to say I'm as impressed with the folks at Failbetter who designed the game as I am with Erin Morgenstern.  It was fun to play the game before I'd read the book:  the black-and-white-with-touches-of-red cards are lovely, and the prose is evocative, hinting at a world well worth exploring.  But now that I've read it...  It's even better. I know who the characters are, mostly, and why they're there, and it feels as though I'm being allowed to step into that world, however briefly.  Yes, Morgenstern's world aligns well with the tastes and styles of the creators of Echo Bazaar, but this definitely is her world, her Night Circus, not theirs.  It's seriously well done.

But mostly?  I so want a game of my own....    :-)
