Interesting Book Tie-in
I've been intrigued by advance press for Erin Morgentstern's The Night Circus - this is the first paragraph of the book blurb, the one that grabbed me, and I'm really hoping the novel lives up to it.
"The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night."
Just as interesting, though, is the game that has been created in support of the book. It's done by Failbetter Games, who also did the incredibly addictive Echo Bazaar, and so far, at least, it's been a fascinating glimpse into the world of the novel. I'm really interested to see how it plays once I've read the book itself.
But for right now, I'd really like a game like this for the Points!
