Keeping Meryl and Pierce away from each other the first couple of days was relatively easy. Henry kept Pierce busy by having them go out for drinks and just getting to know each other better. The girls went shopping with Meryl and went out to eat with her and caught up on what was going on with all of them. By the third day however, it was getting more difficult. Every time they were all out doing something together Pierce couldn’t seem to keep his hands off of Meryl, even with all of the kids around. “Pierce and I have talked about everything we can think of by now!” Henry said. “there’s no way he is going to be up for having drinks with me again tonight! He is going to want to go out with mom, and we can’t even trust them to do that, because all of us know that they’ll find a way to have had sex by the time they come back to the hotel!” Henry said exasperated. “I know!” Mamie said. “We’ll go out with Pierce tonight and discuss some things with him and you can go out and catch up with mom! As much as she would love to see Pierce tonight there’s no way she’s going to turn you down, especially if you ask her first because I know Pierce hasn’t made plans for them for tonight yet.” Mamie concluded. “what about the rest of the week?” Louisa asked. “Well Thursday Julie Walters is throwing mom her surprise bachelorette party and Pierce’s is then too.” Grace said. “Yep that’s right and Friday they will be hung over and besides then we have the excuse of them not being able to see each other before the wedding!” Louisa said. “Ok that just leaves tomorrow, but I’m sure we’ll think of something by then.” Mamie said. Meryl walked into the living room of the suite and looked at all four of her children. “What are you guys talking about?” Meryl asked. “Nothing much.” Henry said. “Oh mom, we haven’t gotten to hang out much and I was wondering if we could have dinner tonight and catch up?” he asked. “Sure sweetie I would love to!” Meryl said smiling brightly she loved spending time with her children.
Their day was busy, they had to finalize seating arrangements and the menu. Pierce came over and wrapped his arms around Meryl while they were all standing around looking over everything. “Would you like to have dinner tonight?” He whispered in her ear and it sent a shiver down her spine. “I’d love to but I already promised Henry I would have dinner and catch up with him.” Meryl said apologetically. Grace heard her mother’s response and moved into action. “Pierce since Henry is going out with Mom tonight we thought you could come out with us and we could all catch up?” Grace asked. “Sure, sounds fun.” Pierce said. He looked at Meryl and kissed her lightly. “I am however not going to have near as much fun as I was hoping to tonight.” he whispered. A few minutes later Meryl text him. “Keep tomorrow night free I have a plan, I’ll give you details later.” she hit send and went about her business. Pierce smirked when he received the message knowing that Meryl would find away to be together. Later that evening Pierce went out with Mamie and Grace while Louisa volunteered to stay in and watch Heather, while Meryl and Henry went out to dinner.
The next day Sean and Julie Walters arrived and Meryl txt Pierce about her plan. “Ok the kids want to go see Wicked tonight but we’ll tell them to go without us because your going out with Sean and I’m going out with Julie.” Pierce loved the idea, Sean had already told him that he wanted to sleep off the jet lag so he didn’t even have to tell him of their plans. Meryl informed Julie of what was going on just in case her kids asked Julie about it. At lunch that afternoon they informed the kids that they would not be joining them at the theater and why. Mamie mentally smacked herself for not thinking about this possibility sooner. “You kids have fun.” Meryl finished. “I’m going to stay in and watch Heather that way we don’t have to hire a sitter, I was only going because Pierce was and now I have an easy out!” Henry said happily. “You’ll do anything to get out of going won’t you?” Grace giggled. “yes I will!” he said “Your just like dad in that way!” Louisa said and then busted out laughing and so did everyone else.
Later that evening Meryl brought Heather and all of her thing over to Henry and Pierce’s suite. She gave him explicit instructions that Pierce reinforced as soon as she left. Meryl was getting ready for her “Girls Night” when Mamie and the girls came and told her they were leaving to go to the play. “Have a good time.” Meryl said and kissed her daughters goodbye. “You too, don’t get too drunk!” Grace joked. Meryl chuckled to herself as they left the suite. 20 minutes later Pierce arrived at her suite and knocked on the door. When Meryl opened the door to greet him his mouth fell open. She smirked. She was wearing a thin strapped red dress, it had a deep v neck in the front showing off some amazing cleavage and the hem came up 5 inches from her knees. Pierce entered the suite and said “You look drop dead gorgeous in that dress.” “thank you, you don’t look so bad yourself.” she said looking him over. Pierce was wearing his usual jeans and white shirt with the top few buttons undone. “ thought we could just order room service and stay in tonight.” Meryl said winking. She walked over by the phone and picked up the room service menu. Pierce came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. “That sounds wonderful, but I’d like to have dessert first tonight and I don’t need a menu to decide what I want.” he said taking the menu away from her and turning her around to face him. He looked into her beautiful blue eyes, they were shining brightly with love and lust. He leaned down and kissed her gently. She immediately parted her lips and let her tongue entwine with his. Meryl backed Pierce towards the sofa and pushed him down so that he was sitting on it. She straddled his lap and unbuttoned his shirt, cast it aside, and started kissing his chest. Pierce reached behind her and unzipped her dress and pulled it off over her head. Pierce’s breath caught when he saw she was wearing matching red lacy underwear. He gently moved them so that she was now laying down on the couch and he was on top of her. He moved down kissing her flat stomach and making his way back up. He slid one bra strap over her shoulder and nuzzled her neck. Then his mouth found hers again and she hooked one leg around his hip and reached down and started to remove his belt. Pierce moved one hand slowly over her stomach. Their mouths never leaving the others. He was moving his hand lower and was about to slip it inside her panties when they heard “AHHHHH! Oh My God I’m scarred for life!!!” Louisa screeched. Pierce and Meryl looked up wide eyed in time to see Louisa rush out and Mamie and grace rush in to see what their sister was screaming about. Their jaws dropped when they saw Meryl an Pierce trying to untangle themselves and get up and find their clothes. “Oh my god we are sooooooo sorry!” Mamie said her and Grace turned and immediately left the room so that they could get dressed. Meryl’s face was read with embarrassment as she slipped her dress back on. “Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!” was all she could say. Pierce turned to look at Meryl and she could see the embarrassment written on his face. “Holy shit Pierce! What if they had walked I five minutes later? We wouldn’t have been about to have sex, we would have been in the middle of having sex!!!” she said horrified. “Oh my God, what if Henry would have been with them? It’s one thing for the girls to see you without a shirt on but another entirely for my son to see me in my underwear!!!” Pierce was at a loss for words for a few minutes, he wasn’t as mortified as Meryl was however. He finally managed to say “I know.” “Are you two dressed yet?” Mamie asked. “Yes we are.. You,… can come in” Meryl said nervously. Mamie, grace and Louisa walked back into the room. “We are so sorry we thought you two were out!” Grace said. In all honesty though, they were glad they came back when they had their little prank was almost ruined, they had just been discussing that and then they decided that this little incident was going to actually make it come off much better. “Well… we…. Were… um… going to… um go out.” Meryl stammered “What are you girls doing back here so soon?” Pierce asked. “Well we got there and took our seats but we didn’t think about the fact that the dialogue was going to be in Greek!” Louisa said. Despite her embarrassment hearing that made Meryl laugh. “You didn’t understand a word that came out of their mouths did you?” Then tension evaporated and everyone was laughing. “Not a word!” Mamie said. “Well if you ladies would excuse me I need to take a shower.” Pierce said lightly he kissed Meryl and left the suite. “Hey mom why don’t you go take a shower and then after that we can watch a movie!” Grace suggested. Meryl giggled, kissed her daughters and then went and took a cold shower smiling to herself knowing that Pierce was doing the same thing. When they heard the water running Mamie turned to her sisters. “Ok, that was way to close and from now on we are all going to have to watch them like hawks!” Grace and Louisa agreed
The next day went by in a blur of activities, every time Meryl and Pierce so much as leaned in to kiss each other One of the kids was at their side asking them about something for the wedding. At around 5 The girls tugged Meryl away. “where are we going?” she asked. “we can’t tell you, we were just told to help you get ready.” Mamie said slyly. “What are you taking about?” Meryl asked. “Come on mom, please just play along!” Grace said. Meryl agreed and the girls dressed her in black dress pants and a sequined, low cut halter top. “Ok seriously where am I going that I need to dress like this?” Before anyone could answer Julie knocked on the door. Louisa jumped up and let her in. “is she ready?” Julie asked. “Yes she is and she has no clue!” Louisa said happily. “I have no idea about what?” Meryl asked Julie. “You’ll see!” Julie replied. Mamie was dressed and ready to go. “why aren’t you two ready?” Meryl said turning to Grace and Louisa. “Well Louisa isn’t allowed to come, and I figured we could hang out because I have a feeling you’d probably even kill me if I came! Plus we are watching Heather.” Grace said. Meryl looked puzzled but said “Ok” and went out the door with Mamie and Julie.
20 minutes later they pulled up outside of a club and they were lead to a private section. As soon as the doors were opened Meryl heard “SURPRISE’ Meryl screamed with delight. “Well Meryl, your daughters did all of the wedding planning and I couldn’t resist throwing you a bachelorette party!” Julie said proudly. Meryl looked around the room, Christine Baranski was there, so was Anne Hathaway and Goldie Hawn, there were a few other celebrity friends and the rest were just her regular friends she had known for years including both of her sisters in law. They all sat down and immediately started drinking and having a good time when Julie stood up and said. “Ladies, and no gentlemen It’s my pleasure to say it’s time for the entertainment! What bachelorette party wouldn’t be complete without Chip n Dales strippers!” She finished and sat back down. Meryl looked at her and said “You didn’t” “Yes I did, why do you think Louisa wasn’t allowed to tag along?” Julie replied. “Besides, I got the idea from you, remember you told me you used to love going to chip n dales with your friends for a girls night out when you were younger and single?” Julie finished with a smirk. Meryl couldn’t help but grin as the music started playing and the gorgeous male strippers came out and started dancing and shedding their clothing. Everyone was having an insane amount of fun, they were all drunk and dancing with the strippers. Meryl was having a blast, but she couldn’t help but think about wanting to be with Pierce and have him shedding his clothes instead of the dancers. Julie looked over at Meryl and saw the expression on her face. “What’s wrong honey?” she asked. “Nothing really, I’m having a great time thanks for throwing me this party.” Meryl slurred. “But?” Meryl leaned in closer she was drunk but she knew better than to say anything loudly. “I’m sexually frustrated, last night didn’t go as planned, so I’ve gone 5 days without having sex and I’m not used to that.” she complained. Julie laughed. “Well just think of how much better the wedding night will be!” Julie giggled. Meryl laughed and continued dancing and having a good time.
Meryl and Mamie awoke the next morning with huge hangovers. Louisa and Grace brought them aspirin and coffee. “Was the party fun?” Louisa asked Mamie. “It was a blast, the best party I’ve ever been to!” Meryl agreed it had been a tremendous amount of fun. By the time they had finished their coffee, showered and eaten they were both feeling a lot better. There was a knock on the door and Louisa answered it to see Pierce standing there. The remains of Meryl’s hangover faded quickly when she saw Pierce standing there. ‘Hey honey!” she said and she ran over to him and kissed him passionately. “I missed you last night.” she said. “I missed you too.” he replied. “I heard you had a wild party last night.” Pierce said smirking. “Julie went all out” she replied. “So did Sean, I had quite the party myself.” he said. “I have to say seeing you made my head stop hurting.” “Same here” Meryl replied and kissed him again.
The day passed quickly, everyone had arrived and they were all rushing around to get everything finalized before tomorrow. The weather was to be clear and sunny, perfect wedding conditions. There were no flight delays everyone had arrived on time and everything was going perfectly. They had a wedding rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. Meryl and Pierce were drug apart before the dinner was over and both escorted back to the hotel by the kids. “What is going on it’s only 8 pm!” Meryl said. “right and you two aren’t allowed to see each other before the wedding so kiss each other goodnight because this is the last time you two get to see each other before you walk down the isle.” Louisa said firmly. They could see that they were serious so Meryl and Pierce kissed each other passionately. “Just think by this time tomorrow we’ll be man and wife.” Pierce said excitedly. “I know I can’t wait.” Meryl said. They kissed each other one last time and then Henry and Sean ushered Pierce into his suite and Mamie, Grace and Louisa ushered Meryl into theirs. By about 10 Meryl was extremely excited and knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep so she had her daughters lay down on her bed with her and she held Heather in her arms and they listened to slow music and talked about everything but the wedding. When Meryl finally nodded off Mamie took Heather from her arms and placed her in her crib and then climbed back in bed and they all four fell asleep with their mother……….. TBC

Meryl and Pierce were drug apart before the dinner was over and both escorted back to the hotel by the kids. “What is going on it’s only 8 pm!” Meryl said. “right and you two aren’t allowed to see each other before the wedding so kiss each other goodnight because this is the last time you two get to see each other before you walk down the isle.” Louisa said firmly. They could see that they were serious so Meryl and Pierce kissed each other passionately. “Just think by this time tomorrow we’ll be man and wife.” Pierce said excitedly. “I know I can’t wait.” Meryl said. They kissed each other one last time and then Henry and Sean ushered Pierce into his suite and Mamie, Grace and Louisa ushered Meryl into theirs. By about 10 Meryl was extremely excited and knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep so she had her daughters lay down on her bed with her and she held Heather in her arms and they listened to slow music and talked about everything but the wedding. When Meryl finally nodded off Mamie took Heather from her arms and placed her in her crib and then climbed back in bed and they all four fell asleep with their mother……….. TBC
