I just finished watching Dollhouse,
I can't believe there is only a slight possibility the show may be picked up for season 2.
To be quite honest, the Echo story line is quite boring to me, but the rest... oh man!!
So many things have been going on. The main and most important one is the appearance of Alpha. I truly and honestly thought it was Caroline's boyfriend. I mean, that way the whole killing spree while leaving her alive would've made sense. Instead he just developed a puppy crush love for Echo the same way Victor did for sierra, but as he was a schizophrenic mindfuck, he thought killing everyone was the best way to get her. What.A.Tool. Everybody knows the only red girls like are roses... not blood.
One word: Whisky... OMG! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! I loveDr Saunders so much!! And just like Millie, who I still love even though she's not real, she turned out to be a doll!! In the end, everyone is going to end up being a doll... even Topher!! WHO KNOWS!!
Claire/Topher. "why did you decide it was so important for me to hate you?" I think Topher knew her previous self, and perhaps he might have been the one to convince her to become a doll... so maybe he made her hate him because after what Alpha did to her, he probably felt guilty and thought she should hate him after all...
He just looks so hurt but a bit eager (or at least he sounded to me) when he says "aren't you curious to see who you are?" "I know who I am." Best line ever.
Another very intriguing thing is: Dr Saunders is one of the few people who are vocally, or as vocal as possible, against what they do in the Dollhouse. There's something there. Something about Topher's past and intentions. She hates him and the Dollhouse. Why? He could've easily made her forget what happened to her, make it seem like an accident or something. But he chose not to.
And now that I'm thinking, this friend he had imprinted into Sierra for his birthday... is it possible it may have been a reflection of the real Claire, whom he might have known?
The only thing I can rescue from the Echo story line is the concept of her saving herself and not needing the prince in shinning amour to come and rescue her... although he did kinda help at the end.
And Paul!!!! He rescued Millie first!!!! I really thought he was going to have Caroline released. But I love him for getting Millie out first. Still... YOU MORON!!! GO AND FIND THIS MADELAINE!!! This whole Paul/Echo-Caroline... I don't get it. Paul should be with Millie. ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!
There's one thing that's been bothering me. The whole mole thing. Everyone seemed to think it was Dominic, but... it seemed to me like it was something more underground. I mean, if NSA wanted to have control of the technology... why would they contact Paul through Echo and November to let him know what was going on?? I don't get it.
Oh... I was checking a Dollhouse website. Apparently the episode got cut down... we missed some Tough November sequence:
