Good news!
Come September 1st, I will officially not be homeless!
After looking at an expensive yet swanky apartment with Nazi application policies and then having a near comical tour of uber-cheap yet tres sketchy building with frightening elevators ("Do these rooms usually come with stoves?"), we found a place that is the right amount of classy and cheap that would rent to students with no income.
It's a renovated hotel so the halls are carpeted and clean with CHANDELIERS and we have a gorgeous courtyard with tacky lawn decorations. Our landlord keeps a bottle of ouzo in his cabinet and is nice enough to let us move in throughout August without any extra charge. It is also near all the bus stops.
Went to tapas on Saturday, but, as with the last time I went, alcohol consumption impaired my memory. T'was good, I think. Not really my style of food.
Appearently, I'm seeing Stacey tomorrow. This is good news indeed!
