Brandon and I got free passes to the Jules Verne Adventure Festival closing ceremony this last Saturday night (thanks in part to our new friends, Pam and Crystal, and to the JVAFF crew who sent out passes to various fan forums).

So I walked the picket line yesterday with the Heroes writers, as well as the many wonderful people also picketing NBC/Universal. I walked back and forth across the street, carrying my sign along side show creators, feature film writers, and the people who breathe life into our fandom idols.

And seriously, it was pretty surreal.

OK, it's pretty bad (although I am somewhat amused by the Sylar and George Takei jokes, not to mention the knock on JJ Abrams). Honestly I'm pretty psyched about the upcoming Star Trek movie, especially since Brandon and I have been watching and re-watching all of the movies lately ( Read more... )
