So! Things are moving, things are doing, things are go go go!
'Tis the first day of my accelerated audio course, the 5-8 week workshop program out here in good ol' Chillicothe, Destination: Anywhere. Not too bad! Certainly intense, and a little bit intimidating, but the staff are very friendly, understanding and patient, even with the stupidest of questions and hypotheticals from yours truely. I've already been in class for about 3 hours; got about an hour and 20min. before going back for another 90 min. lecture, then about 2 more hours until some 90 min. of studio time. A little high-stress, admittedly, but exciting! The only drawback I've seen so far is the unpleasant sight of my cabin floor littered with dead ladybugs. Apparently this is the week that they've decided to make up residence before they die out for the fall/winter. Not something I'm used to in Buffalo, admittedly -- it's too cold for those littl' critters to infest most homes. Ah well. Things happen. I'll just double-check the sheets tonight and keep all of my unsealed food in the fridge.
I have the feeling this entry is a little off of my normal style of writing. I can't tell, partially because I'm distracted by listening to - you guessed it - an audio drama. This one happens to be a little self-indulgent, as I'm listening to the latest episode of the Byron Chronicles from Darker Projects -
http://www.darkerprojects.com/byronchronicles.php#207A . I encourage you all to go listen to the Halloween Episode. You may find someone very familiar-sounding within the project...even if she does sound pretty wooden. >.<;;;
Ah well. I know there's more to talk about, certainly...but methinks I'm going to go get some very overdue emails done and out of the way.....
