Porch painting has begun. I'm quite happy with how the base coat looks, both the color and the quality of the work.
I've been having odd dreams lately: I was frantically packing for BurlyCon at the last possible minute. I took a drudge job at a library at Harvard and then wondered why. I found a YSL Le Smoking suit that fit me wonderfully.
Torn about Cooks' Guild. Only two yeses & a pile of noes, which is enough for me to cancel, but we're not having a meeting next month (travel plus wedding plus holiday means no free Sundays).
I have a lot of non-medieval cooking I want to do. There are several retro recipes I'm dying to make, but I need an audience to consume them. Don't you want to try Glitter Torte or Spanish Pudding or a ridiculous 3-layer frosted sandwich? I think Katherine Hepburn's Burgundy Chicken is next on the docket. And
