I hold to the fact that I prefer heat to cold, but my GOD, when it is over 100 degrees and the electricity cuts out so that there aren't any fans blowing... the line gets a little less clear.
I am no longer sick from drinking too much tap water! Well, not really. But I think my stomach shrank. Yuck.
Two more months! It's hard to believe this is day 12.
Ok, that's not true. It feels like day 12. And sometimes... well, sometimes two months feels like an awfully long time.
The kids are adorable, though, and today I got to go tramp through mud up to my knees and catch mini frogs, and pet ducklings that were all grouped into a boat together. And this weekend I may finally get to go to the ocean, now that the transit strike is finally (and suddenly) over!
