•my mother is obsessed with the idea of me teaching children's church at our church. I don't want to, because she shut me down from volunteering at church before, and I don't want to get trapped again. She claims that this time is different, but I don't see how. She claims that I'm ignoring God, because our pastor asked for volunteers, but SHE'S the one pushing me and guilt-tripping me and trying to force me to say yes. There's other things in the church that I have wanted to do also, but didn't bring up for the same reason (mom shutting me down).
