•HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
we did absolutely nothing. Wait no we have a wreath on the door for decoration, but that's it. Dad went out and got stocking stuffers and gave us Christmas cards. I bought gifts from Amazon, but a couple were delayed.

•mom bought herself an instapot over the holiday season. She seemed to have a hard time figuring out the instructions, so I read them and now (surprise surprise)(/s) I'm now in charge of making a dish with it. She wants chili. We don't have all the ingredients for chili. She says just substitute for the missing ingredients. But when there are substitutions, I cannot preemptively account for it turning out different than the recipe calls for, and I have to be able to do that because mom is a perfectionist and wants grandma to be able to eat anything we make for ourselves with no accommodations. grandma has dementia and no teeth so everything has to be perfectly soft with perfectly soft ingredients and at the perfect temperature and fed to her at the perfect time when she's in the perfect mood or else she'll spit it out and cry or refuse to eat it in the first place. (Actually, there's a chance I do all the right things and she *still* not like it/want it!)
So no pressure. None at all 🙃
