my ipod screen whited out today. the screen froze while i was scrolling through tumblr. i am used to it doing that (sadly) and then suddenly closing out of whatever app im in, usually it's safari. so i was thinking that it was one of those times, so i hit the home button to close it out myself but it stayed frozen so i went on with my day and thought i'd come back to my home screen. no such luck; instead, when i came back (about 2-3 hours later), the entire screen was dead white (when i went to look up what to do about this, i saw a lot of people refer to it as "the white screen of death"). after finding the solution (press volume up, power, and home buttons all at the same time) that worked for me i shut it back off.
now here's my actual question: now that i got it out of whitescreen, and turned it off, what can i do for it? i didnt think going back on it right away was a good idea. is there some post-whiteout special care that i can/need to do?
how-to,
