Friend in serious need

I got her out of one bad situation, but I do not have the resources on my own to get her out of state. "Friends" who took her in when she lost her home due to skyrocketing health care bills stole most of her property. Now, her husband is in Virginia and is living in his father's old house. Between her SSI and his job in VA Beach, they can pay his father's mortgage payments to keep the house in the family. (His father had to move to NJ for work and could not sell the house in this market.) Time is running out for her. She is on SSI due to a plethora of serious medical conditions, not the least of it having her thyroid removed due to cancer. Sadly, in a few weeks, she will lose the place she is currently staying in. Any help you can give her, even a few dollars can make a difference here, as I might be able to match it over time.
