I've been away, but now I'm back...
Well I had to come back and see the lovely fraggle_red's news....
And it's probably time to deal with the world again anyway. Work is about to cease being ridiculous for another few months, so, well - hello world
Mother died a couple of months ago and the time since then has been pretty much taken up with work, sorting the funeral and trying to sort 'mother stuff'. I have to do the whole probate thing, which given that mother was the only person on the planet untidier and less organised than me is proving, hmmm, 'interesting'
I haven't really been out or in touch with anyone since - so I'm sorry if I missed birthdays/didn't answer emails/owe you phone calls. I'm not being ignorant (well maybe, kinda), it's all just been a lot to deal with. I haven't been reading LJ since mother got really bad at the end of September - so if there's any significant news I've missed let me know :)
Rowan has been absolutely ace throughout it all (just as well or the few remaining marbles may have packed up their hankies and left home). So I'm pretty much OK now. I think.
