Looking for: Arthur thinks Merlin is a Noble fanfic
I'm read a fanfic I can't find anymore. It was on Ao3 and the plot went like this:
Arthur didn't die but Gwen did. One night Arthur was drunk and Merlin said something to piss him off so Arthur choked him. Then is shocked next morning about what he did. Some time later Arthur makes observations about Merlin being able to read and his General behavior and concludes that he's born Noble. Leon makes later similar observations.
That's what I remember at least.
Can't remember whether or not it was complete was a magic reveal story though.
