UPDATE:Found! Thank you! OK so I have no idea how to do this and I haven’t done it before so sorry if I am doing it completely wrong but I am desperate to find this one fic that I read a long time ago but cannot for the life of me remember what it was called or who wrote it. All I remember is that Merlin is royal or a lord or something and gets separated from everyone during an attack (from Saxons I think) and he calls the dragon to help him defeat them. Then he is injured and falls from his horse. Then a random traveler finds him and cares for him. He (the stranger) is a jeweler or a silversmith or something and recognizes Merlin’s ring as one of his own father’s creations for Merlin’s father. That’s how he knows merlin is a dragon lord and son of Balinor. That’s basically all I remember. I might be wrong about some of that but that’s the best I can do right now. I really really want to find it. Does it ring any bells? Thank you! And once again sorry for any mistakes and if I am doing it wrong. First time. Also I never use live journal so it confuses me.
