!MOD POST [please PM a mod if you cannot view, it concerns the 18+ ~situation~]
Dear Members,
Some of you may have noticed that the comm has recently swapped to "explicit adult content" as the default for all entries, meaning that anyone not over 18 cannot view the content of this community, and simply see a page that looks a little like this. It also means that any entries on this comm on your friends page will be collapsed and a note in brackets reading, "You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults."
The mod team here would like to inform you all that this was NOT our decision, and has not been done by us. Observant members may have noticed that fellow Merlin comms such as merlinxarthur and merlinslash have also been hit by this.
The mod team is on this, and we are working with mods from the two comms listed above - this is not only affecting the Merlin fandom, but also other fandom and bandoms - and we will try out best to get it resolved. However, this all depends on LJ cooperating, so it may be a while before things are back to normal. The mod's ask you to be patient with us, and if any comms you may mod have been affected, we ask to you notify LJ* - the more we bug them, the faster they'll probably act. We will keep you updated as things progress, but so far, there hasn't been any official announcement from Livejournal.
