I had my second ultrasound on Thursday this week. It was pretty cool. Kermie is now about 3 inches long. In the close-ups you can see his/her arms and legs clearly. I got them a Nuzzle Nursing Pillow which they LOVED and I thought it was pretty cool as well. It might not be made any more. It was made by Basic Comfort

Huggies and Pampers both seem to work well. I think it just comes down to personal preference.

I think the best brand varies from baby to baby. When we've used disposable diapers with Alex, the generic store-brand ones have actually been better than many of the brand-name ones because apparently the scent used in some of them gives her diaper rash.

You probably will need the "newborn" sized ones so they don't hit the cord stub, but from there I don't know how much stocking you'll want to do since you don't necessarily know how long the baby will need any given size.

It varies based on the baby. Aaden came home from the hospital wearing size 1s, he didn't even wear newborn size. (He was 7lbs 15.2 oz at birth).

Personally, I used toys r us store brand. They worked the best and were pretty cheap. You don't need name brand anything unless those are what fit your baby best.

Aww, I love reading these posts! I'm living vicariously through you and all my other pregnant friends/new mamas until I get to have my own child. My coworker is 8 months pregnant, and just had her shower this weekend, I met up with another friend for dinner this weekend who also 8 months pregnant, and I babysat for a 6-month old tonight. Hopefully hanging out with everyone else's kids will slow down my own clock ticking. ;)
