Calling all knitters!!
Dear knitter types, if a pattern says "cont in patt until work measures 11 cm from centre of rib" does that mean 11 cm from where the rib ends and the pattern begins (so 11 cm of pattern in total) or does that mean 11 cm from the cast on edge (so 11 cm in total with pattern PLUS rib)? Plz to be informing? It's a beanie I'm knitting and I don't want an oversize melonhead baby hat. For one thing, I don't want to freak the first time momma out by making her think she's got to deliver something that big!!
