Hi, hello I... have been busy? And quiet? But I'm still here on the El Jay!
Happy New Year and stuff!
I had four turkey dinners in a row and got just a ridic amount of presents and now I am baaaaaaack to school. Boo. And my loser parents are going to Jamaica on the 10th. More boo. All I have is an upcoming committee meeting haaa.
I have nothing of interest. Hence the radio silence. Uh, I read a lot of fic? But the holiday glut is enoooooormous. I'll probably never see it all. Also, I read The Hunger Games after hearing about it vaguely all over the place and man... THAT is how you write YA SFF, okay.
Also! Thanks to an Indigo gift card, I bought me This Movie Is Broken, which I am watching now! I saw it first on the plane home from Newfoundland, but it was on my radar not only because it's a Bruce McDonald movie (and it is SUCH a Bruce movie, and written by Don McKellar, I might add), but because I am in it. Sorta. I was at the Broken Social Scene concert that makes up 50% of the film and it just... It's Toronto in high summer, guys, and Emily Haines, Leslie Feist and Amy Millan were singing Athems for a 17-year-old girl together.
So, I want to share the love, but I... have no idea how to get a movie from a DVD to uh... places. Anyone know an easy way to do that? >.>
MORE ALSO. I have a ticket to the Headstones. I am EXCITED. Especially for fangirls coming my way.
ALSO ALSO. It's the World Junior Hockey gold medal game tonight between Canada and Russia. I'm still not a hockey fangirl, but the World Juniors is kind of a holiday even and I have to see it through. Also, we rule. Woooooooooooooooooo!
