OHAI, so you know what day it is? It's freaking Canada Day, guys. A holiday falling in the middle of the week that mostly consists of red-and-white cake, lighting things on fire and lamenting how the booze boutique is closed. (Unless you're in Toronto right now, at which point you have other things to lament.)

The weather is... indifferent to Read more... )

HI BRYNN HI I MISS YOU TOO. COME VISIT ME. ♥

I am SO HUNGRY right now, Brynn. I'm working the holiday and so NOTHING on campus is open and I'm a stupidhead who didn't bring anything with me. Hence the fixation on food. I could really use some free beef, is what I'm saying.

He can try to convince Kiefer of the virtue of *not* getting in drunken brawls and thrown in jail all the time. It'll be fun.

I ALMOST want to watch 24, just for the endless parade of actors I love (Misha Collins! Micheal Shanks! Zach Quinto! CKR! Other people as well!!), though I am endlessly disturbed by the fact that the US govt feels the need to show it as part of torture training....my liberal moral outrage is clashing with my fannish flailing! I DO NOT APPROVE!!!!!

In the 24 hours I have managed to spend in Canada in my lifetime, the only places I went to was The Keg (if it is the same The Keg) and the mall. Apparently, this is an authentic Canada experience?

Ahhh, to live in a country where one can laugh at themselves without being thrown in prison or assaulted by Bill O'Reilly. (Though they're both pretty much interchangeable.)

Happy Canada day to you!
