Books! I has them.
I got a hefty box from Amazon in my door today, yayayes. It contained seven Aubrey-Maturin books, starting with The Ionian Mission because that's what I'm up to reading right now. I'll buy the earlier ones later. And the later ones later. :D? Yay for having books! Especially books with helpful diagrams; goddamn you and your jargon, O'Brian. Oh, and sons of bitches, they sent me a copy of Far Side of the World that is a different edition and does not MATCH. Grr.
The eighth book is False Colors. Difficult to lay odds on whether the principals will be very much more in love than Jack and Stephen. (Especially if you take the duet-as-euphemism into account.)
I need an icon or two for this now, I think. And a proper tag. Aw, yis.

sionnain has delivered a whopping-big fic to my inbox for betaing, which will take up my weekend, likely. \m/ Unfortunately, the reason I'll have all the time in the world for it is because my BFF, who is a jerk, can't come up to visit me because of her cell lines or some damned thing. Jerk. I'll just have to go see Star Trek on MY OWN, then.
