People are wearing buttons and cheering randomly downtown and talking about world politics on the bus and lamenting the stupidity of gay marriage bans and high-fiving each other and yay.

Irrespective of some setbacks, I think things DO look sunnier today and it's not just the twenty degree weather. :D
ETA: Polls say something like 80% of Canadians would have voted for Obama if we could. How about THEM apples? :D
