Been playing a bit of Hexyz Force on the PSP. Doing Levant's story first. Am liking the game a lot. The pacing is just right, and the turn-based battle system is actually interesting enough to not bother me. XSeed is localising the Ys games and the Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki trilogy for the PSP. Yesh!

Was playing a bit of Tales of VS last night on the Lion/Kyle story mode. Everything was ok until after the battle with Mighty Kongman/Phillia.

It appears that there is a Persona 3 Portable coming to the PSP, with (an option of?) a female protagonist. Here I am, eager for this new game, and I have not completed both the original Persona 3 and Persona 3: FES.

The long-awaited Trico game, The Last Guardian, finally makes its first appearance in public. Really gorgeous art in motion. Think Studio Ghibli meets Guillermo del Toro.

Also, Final Fantasy XIV Online coming to Playstation 3 and PC in 2010 worldwide. The trailer is up on Japan PSN. Pretty! I might try this game if the subscription isn't too ( Read more... )

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 for the PSP is doing very well in Japan, with 1st week sale outselling the lifetime sales of Tales of Hearts, Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. I hope it gets localised in English, though the sheer number of voice-acting required means it likely won't ( Read more... )

I've downloaded a few games off the US Playstation Network now that I've got my PSN cards. The original PS1 version of Wild ARMs is great on the PSP, and I had lots of fun using Rudy to hurl chickens round the farm just to hear their clucks of protest ( Read more... )

Square Enix left no stone unturned (or rather no clothes unshed) when it came to pushing Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

In coming up with alternate costumes for the cast of heroes and villains, fans will be treated to Topless Sephiroth...complete with one wing!!!!!

This game is going to blow everything else off the charts come Dec 18.
