Found myself a place in Amsterdam!
I finally got myself a place in Amsterdam! Probably only till the end of july, but perhaps longer depends on whether the building is getting demolished or not. But still it's awesome news, I'm so happy!
Yesterday I went to see the place 10 other possible new roommate where there as well. The girls who already live in the apartment are such nice girls. They like to travel, have fun but also very much care about their jobs and study. But anyways they had to pick from 10 girls who all seemed lovely. This morning I got a message from one of the girls that said that they would love to have me as their new roommate. I couldn't believe it! Of course I'd hoped for it, but like I said all the other girls seemed nice as well. I do have a lot in common with them, especially with Jorie. She also studies communication science at the Uva, is a vegetarian, and loves bands and football :D
Now that I've got a place to stay in Amsterdam, I can go to so much more gigs. whoohoo! I do have to sort out the financial stuff and fill out some papers. I hope that's not too difficult.
Below you can find a map of Amsterdam, the giant A, stand for my new Apartment ;) the blue circle is the central station, the green circle is where my faculty of the university is and the blue circle indicates Leidse plein, that is where all the fun is :D it might still seem quite a bit far away but I assure you its not. It takes the bus less than 10 minutes to drive from the central station (blue circle) to the apartment (A).
Anyways I just wanted to share this happy moment!
