Do you realize

this is my 3rd post today?

Oh well.

Anyway, I'm stuck! Not like olmue 's stuck-outside-in-the-cold-if-she-doesn't-get-her-doorknob-fixed. My stuck is the WIP stuck. I have several scenes I have to write from scratch and between convincing myself that my tummy isn't aching and I'm not getting that stomach bug Little M has and trying to convince ( Read more... )

Well you can't quit because darn it, I won't let you. But maybe a break is in order for the day. I'll allow it. But only for today. ;)

I know it's hard for you to write this, but once you finish, you'll be done. I'd tell you to write something light and fluffy and heartwarming but I know you have plans for the next Panthan's book and that doesn't quite fit light and fluffy. But hey, at least you'll be done with TBOM, right? (Is it just me or am I'm failing at trying to encourage you here?)

If it makes you feel any better, I kicked butt with my prewriting last night and today and all I have left is the scene outline and then once the holidays are over, I am so ready to write this book!

Congrats on your progress! Mostly I'm just feeling puny. I hope the result of the chips and Rotel dip I had last night and not the stomach virus.

I hope that's all it is. Stomach bugs aren't any fun.

I think you almost HAVE to take frequent breaks when writing about heavy stuff.

Stay well! Tell that stomach bug to go stick itself to a flagpole and leave you alone!

I've often found that setting stuff aside for a while helps the old sub-conscious find a solution for me :)

*sigh* I know I have to walk away from it for a little while. But I suffer from a bad case of impatience too. < More proof that I need to step away for a time. lol

I had the stomach flu. It was horrible and at one moment during that night I thought for sure I was dying.
