Yesterday I talked myself out of the guilt over not writing.  Today, though, I'm having serious withdrawals.  Also, my v is sticking on my keyboard and I keep having to hit it a million times.  That's gonna go over well.  I see screaming and cursing in my near future ( Read more... )

I did one better. :-D I unplugged our house phone that day and I still haven't plugged it up. :-) We've been using our cells. Anyone I want to talk to has that number. I'm also calling the phone company later to cancel our land line.

Awesome! Have you tried to change the due date on your cards? That might buy you a couple days.

We're past that helping. He's been working off 1/4 of his normal pay since before Christmas. We're hoping our income tax can get them all paid off. Thankfully we didn't have many or that high of a balance.

I'm sorry. I loved your response to her though...I know these people are just trying to do their jobs, but being rude is so unnecessary. It's not like you're enjoying this.

Well, it's not like we can walk into the Senate and ask for a bailout. Between my other payments, their interest payments and my taxes this bank got in their bailout, I think they should cut some people some slack.

I know. Don't get me started on the bailouts. WHERE ARE THE BAILOUTS FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED THEM?

Oh, sure. And I just love this new idea of helping the banks more by finding some way for them to lower their interest rates on their home loans. Yes and then they get more money and put a stipulation on it that in order to get this new interest rate your credit score has to be this or that or higher. Which will work just fine because the people who don't need help with the mortgage payments will of course still have good credit.

Okay, I'm stopping. lol. This subject makes me too mad.
