I really want the world to go away today.
Yesterday I talked myself out of the guilt over not writing. Today, though, I'm having serious withdrawals. Also, my v is sticking on my keyboard and I keep having to hit it a million times. That's gonna go over well. I see screaming and cursing in my near future.
Joe's off work again, which means writing, cleaning, and living will be put on hold. When he's home nothing gets done. I don't know why. I think because he bugs me all the time. Then again, I woke up this morning cranky. While I was waiting on my coffee to brew I told him we were going to measure the kitchen floor and take a trip to Lowes. I want new tile down. Now.
Who cares that we're broke. We can at least price it and see how much we need to save up.
Wait, you have to actually make enough to pay all your bills before you can put stuff in savings, right?
Good news on money though! The mill will be running for two weeks straight! This means full bonuses. Yay!
A very funny credit card story.
So, the morning the power went out this woman called from one of our credit card companies. Now when Joe's paychecks went south we had to decide what was important and what wasn't. We decided the house, truck and utilities needed to be paid. We also needed to eat. We barely make enough to pay what I listed.
The credit cards just had to sit. Sorry. It's not like I planned for the economy to go to crap. Not that the banks care. Anyway this woman was so rude. We had like 2 dollars in the bank, which was closed. Joe's check hadn't even went through because the the lines were down. I tried to tell her that as soon as we got some money that we'd send in the payment. She got super rude!
Do they think we actually have money just sitting around and we up and decided we wanted to ruin our credit by not paying our bills? I mean, just for the hell of it, you know? Sheesh.
Joe's all stressed over these phone calls. I couldn't care less. I told that woman if her company really needed my money they could build a new building and order some steel to build it. :-) She didn't like that idea.
