It's Friday night. It's 7:42pm and I'm sitting down to read curriculum.

So much going on!

When Arya disappeared, we went and got ourselves a Nintendo Wii - we needed something to distract ourselves. Also bought Wii Fit and Rayman's Raving Rabbids TV-Party. We got the Wii software moded so now we can download games we know we're not going to be all that interested in anyway (I'll still be buying the games I like, but Monopoly and Trivial ( Read more... )

As a geek, I'm sad to say that I don't really look up to many academics. But there is one - Helene Uri. Not only is she witty and smart, she can also explain the most complex things and make them easy. Also, she writes great fiction, the book where she "justifies" her leaving the University of Oslo (a little bashing of the academia has never hurt ( Read more... )

Is it too much to ask for to have the "Final Four Theme"/All Along the Watchtower somewhere online? Just the piano, not with other instruments and singing?!

Trying to ration the episodes didn't work. Two episodes left; we just saw 4x14. I sure hope there is an episode airing in the US on Friday *goes to check*

T has started rationing the Battlestar Galactica episodes we have left. From now on we can only see two a day, and by Saturday we will have caught up with the airing schedule.

4 seasons in two weeks. Impressive, if I might say so myself.
