Also, I have such bad circulation that it has to be 20 degrees before I take my jacket off, so I often leave it on. Often, I'm so used to being cold and wearing the jacket, that I fail to notice I am overheating until I'm physically ill.
I feel so British, complaining about the weather when its cold and then complaining again when its hot. If we didn't have the weather we had, we'd be at a loss as to what to complain about - we'd never survive.

I actually invested in a parasol this summer; it is beautiful and I adore it.
And at least you have an excuse for complaining abut the weather (although I am technically British as well, kind of, so maybe that's where I get it from).

I quite like the cold, though. Good thing, too, since on a clear day in winter you can just about see Antarctica from the mountain above my city ;)

I love the sun, sadly it does not love me. I go a beautiful red colour, and then peel - attractive!
Much as I love the sun (and I do, I love the heat and the sunshine and the ability to dry things outdoors and sitting in parks eating ice cream), I hate the fact that I am never really comfortable in the sun! Goths and sunshine tend not to mix well, velvet, lace and layers not being known for their sun-friendly nature! Plus there's the whole make-up melting, shiney face aspect!
And New Rocks are not summer shoes, which is annoying, as they are comfy and sandals tend to rub my feet!
