A brief summary of my Sunday morning
Background: my roommate has a friend visiting, who's slept on our couch for the last couple of nights. With that in mind, here is a record of the events of this morning:
12:00am - Go to bed, early for me, as I actually managed not to sleep in the day before and am feeling quite TIRED
2:40am - Am woken up by my roommate and her friend TALKING; it is not a large apartment and their voices are right next to my head
3:00am - Stumble to bathroom to find TOILET clogged all to HELL; I don't blame anyone in particular for this, as this toilet clogs up at least once every two weeks, but clearly having three people using it, one of whom is not necessarily familiar with its quirks, has not done it any favors; it is almost completely UNUSABLE
3:05am-7:00am - Am completely unable to SLEEP, the universe being entirely unfair; continue to make sporadic attempts, interspersed with bouts of writing TERRIBLE FIC
7:10am - Finally PASS OUT from sheer exhaustion
10:00am - Am awoken by incredibly loud and obnoxious ALARM, emanating from CELL PHONE left unattended by roommate's friend; roommate and friend are nowhere to be seen
10:10am - TWICE GODDAMNIT WHAT THE FUCK HULK SMASH
10:15am - Ah, a few more blissful minutes of sleep--
10:30am - Woken by RINGING of DOORBELL and KNOCKING; open door to find PLUMBER, whom roommate evidently called but did not STICK AROUND for
10:45am - ????
11:00am - MURDER!!
No jury in the land would convict me.
