Well... they've decided. They're going to deny my request for time off for AX. Now I have to make a decision.
My plans are all pretty much set for the con - The only thing I have left to get ready is to get the plane ticket. And as I've said before, I've been meaning to look for a different job anyway, for better hours. It's a shame that today is my 6 month mark here. I think I'm supposed to get a $.50/hr raise now.
This isn't a bad job by any means, but I don't think it's a good fit for me. I like knowing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing, and I don't like the thought that it's perfectly alright if I get in trouble because someone else made a mistake.
At this point I think I'm going to give them my notice and quit. I'm going to take my time and be sure about this though. My other job could probably give me more hours, and I can poke around now and start looking for other work options. Frankly, this doing 2 jobs thing is kinda wearing me out too. I'm so tired all the time, it's probably bad for my health.
