Well this is a new Garrett story. It's called Belligerent. I'll continue on with both stories though so no worries. Anywho, Here's chapter one! Enjoy!

Chapter One-It's your dream.
"Are you serious?! You found someone in L.A. that I can room with until I find my own place?" I squealed into the phone.
"Uh.. yeah I did!" She replied.
"Well who is it?" I asked my best friend.
"Just one of my friends, you've never met.. her..." She was sounding suspicious.
"Ok.. well I leave tomorrow morning so I need the address."
She gave me the address then we hung up. I have been planning to move to L.A. since I was 9, to be able to start a modeling career. Who knows if it'll work, but at least I have somewhere to stay.
I woke up the next morning and took a cab to the airport, then got on the plane and headed to LA. The flight was four hours long. I fell asleep, thankfully, otherwise I'd be a wreck, planes aren't my thing. Once we landed I got of the plane, collected my luggage and dragged it out to a cab. I handed the cabby the address and he drove me to it.
The cab pulled up to apartment buildings. I handed the cabby $50 then got out with my three bags, then started up to room 26, the room written on the paper. I walked down the last long light blue hallway and my stomach was doing jumping jacks wondering who it was that I had to room with for the next couple of months. I sat my bags down, fixed my hair. I hope she's nice. I took in one last long breath then knocked.
I waited a couple seconds and no answer, so I knocked again. A second later the thin door swung open. My jaw dropped.
"You've got to be fuckin kidding me." I looked around shocked.
He looked at me confused, "Why the hell are you here?"
"Did Holly mention a roommate coming to live with you?" I asked him, really hating this idea.
"Yea, she said---" His face looked like mine when he opened the door, "Oh fuck."
"My thoughts exactly." I groaned, "Let me in." I picked up two of my bags and took them in and sat them in the main room. I turned around expecting him to bring the other bag in like a gentleman, but who was I kidding?
"Thanks sir, for helping me with my bags." I glared and went and got the last one from outside.
I pulled my cell phone out of one of my bags and dialed Holly's number.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Why didn't you tell me I was moving in with Garrett?!" I screamed not bothering to say hello.
"Cause you needed a place to stay, otherwise you wouldn't be able to start working on your big dream." She explained.
"I'd rather not bother with my dream than move in with him!"
"Please leave then." Garrett said listening in. I just shot him a look.
"Jamie, you know this is important to you, just deal with it until you get enough money for your own place." She said. I knew she was right. I didn't have a choice. This is what I always wanted. I just hung up not saying by.
"I'm staying." I grinned at him.
"No you're not." He shook his head and picked up a bag and threw it outside his apartment. I went outside, picked up the bag and came back in, closing the door behind me.
"Oh yes I am. I'll pay half the rent."
He crossed his arms, "You know what, fine. But if I try to kill you in your sleep you can't blame me."
"Ditto." I glared.
"I'm outtie." He said walking out the door.
"What am I supposed to---" He slammed the door, "...eat...."
I went over to his kitchen and opened up the fridge. There was a forth of a quart of milk, old salad on a plate, a rotting apple, and a case of beer. "What did I expect? It's a dude's house." I mumbled. I grabbed the milk and found some stale cereal in the cupboards and poured myself some cereal. I went out to the main room again and sat on the couch. I spent the rest of the day laying there watching tv.
