All Good Things...
I hate that line, ya know that? Well another Anime Expo has come and gone. The highpoint of this year was probably seeing Katsuyuki Konishi -the Japanese voice of Kamina, Johann Trinity(Sp?), a couple Hetalia characters and Llyod from Tales of Symphonia among his more note worthy roles. All in all, I was very impressed with his enthusiasm and energy.
So I spent July 3rd and half of the 4th dressed as Kamina. Despite some details having to be tweaked and done in a pinch, I can say with some pride that I was at least a mid-range grade Kamina cosplayer. The guys that were in the contest were genuinely amazing and while I'll cede my defeat for now, I've decided that I'll spend the next year working on improving my costume and makeup techniques so I'll be just as good as them. I spent the second half of the 4th back in my Seta costume; another one that I'll hope to renovate shortly after things all settle down again.
While the con was hectic and stressful in some places, I've really had fun this year. Coming up later today is our little trip to our post-con hotel to wind down until cubanb goes back home. There we'll probably loaf around and play video games 'till then.
So after this, I'm prolli gonna go sleep for awhile; cart the rest of our junk back to my place before picking up everyone from the hotel here and spending some time in Little Tokyo before we head to the hotel I mentioned. So at the hotel, I'm figuring I'll try to process and upload some convention photos when it's not my turn to play. So I should have some proper convention images up later.
