today sucks
It's Father's Day.
My Dad died 11 years ago.
My Father-in-law is dying, this will be his last Father's Day on earth. My husband is with him, I am 3 hrs away.
Where I am trying to figure out what to do with a well and or pump that is not working...
without being able to ruin the day for my husband and father-in-law by calling and asking for advice.
Our son and his friend who are here can't do anything further about it.
I think I will conserve water and just drink alcohol today and wait for tomorrow.

PS< I also just found out that some of the items in my 1930s-1940's Scout First Aid kits contain picric acid and could potentially blow up...disappointing, I found all the items, and lit them off outside and there were no fireworks...bummer!
