Blah
Today is being a long day. I can't believe it is still afternoon. Then again I did get up at 3:30 and didn't really sleep last night. Always makes for a long day. At lleast now Iam at the hotel for the night. It is snowing outside and by the time I am finished with this it will be dark out side. I plan on going back to my room. Eating some Cuban black beans and rice and drinking some tea. Hopefully I cna find something good on tv to watch while I knit. I am so looking for the ruch of crony, saappy holiday movies. I have to admit I love lhem. Kinda in limbo when it comes to knitting projects but I really wantr to learn to knit cables and I need to practice knitting in the round on double pointed needles so that is what I will work on tonight. With all luck I will be able to go to bed early and get a good night's sleep. The next two days are going to hard and, quite frankly, I don't really want to be working. At least when they are over I get a few days off.
On the computer front I have decided to buy a midrange Macbook. I paying for it with my credit which does not make me happy. But it is that or don't have a computer. I can get by without one for awhile but there is a limit. I feel a bit disconnected and dependednt on other. Not a feeling I like to have. I need to decided whether to buy it in a store or online. Either way it will be soon, I hope.
Christmas is coming and I am certainly not ready for it. I hope that in my next chunk of days off I will get myself ready. As it is my only significant chunck of days off before Christmas I don't have much a choice. Anyone want to help me decorate my house for Christmas and bake? Suggestions for Christmas dinner? I actually am looking forward to Christmas this year. I am glad I get off earlish on Christmas Eve and then get a few days to just enjoy being with my family.
