Boss comes back from being a few days away and tells you as per my post on the official bulletin board he installed Win2k SP3 on his laptop. To which I replied my post said it was not recommended. So to prove his point he pulled up my post and read it aloud. Then he found the 'not' as in it is not recommended. He tells me I should have made it more clear. I was reasonable. Did not raise my voice when I said, "it is called Attention to Details." So then I got busy and defanged the auto update features. So much fun I have, any wonder why I goto work?
This guy was screaming at me as if I'd murdered his wife and child and violated the family pet. He was using language that I consider rude at best and abusive if I felt like filing a work claim. The edge was right there, so I dodged it. It seemed safer than telling him to go take a remedial reading course, really...
...sad thing is, even if you had "not" underlined, in italics and bold lettering, with alternate colors (if possible) then someone would still do it and wonder why it wasn't "more clear".
I'm sorry that he's illiterate.skyriderDecember 6 2002, 19:00:10 UTC
We've all had that type of person to have to help out..... the ones that can't seem to drive on the right side of the road even with the sign clearly written.

Maybe he just needs a hug.
Or an enema.
