Give me the gift of GIF and gleeful shall I be
Can someone explain to me how one makes an animated GIF?
I have a wide variety of software in which I think this is possible (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Image Ready, and Jasc PaintShop Pro); I just don't know where to start.
Or maybe you know a site where they give decent instructions? If I'm not mistaken, this involves taking frames from a video clip and turning them into a GIF, which is animated somehow, but it not a movie clip; and is a small file in the end result because they are often used as avatars, which usually have pretty small size limits.
I am clueless about this one area of design! I think it's easy; I just don't know how to start. Anyone not as dopey about this as I am?
