Wow....it surprises me how much of freshman chemistry and organic I've actually forgotten. Class is going as well as can be expected so far. I'm having to work a little harder than most everyone else in the class because I have to go back and re-learn the concepts from those earlier classes that most of them still remember. But, so far, this professor seems to be pretty good. He actually cares that we do well, and he provides us with as much material as he can to help us succeed. So...I suppose we'll see how it goes after the first test.
I have my Shay back! She's doing well, and is just as beastly as she ever was. I'm so glad she's doing better - she really gave me a scare.
I'm currently on my weekend rotation with our new work schedule. I have to say that so far I'M LOVING IT!!! I was off today, and I'm off tomorrow and Friday as well. I haven't had a weeknight off in over a year! Working 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday is going to be *SO* worth it! Honestly, with only studying and going to class being necessities these three days I hardly know what to do with myself! I actually did something fun tonight with our neighbor. There is a place called Sips n' Strokes here where you pay a class fee, and then you bring a drink (any drink you want), and they provide you with a canvas, brushes, and paint and they teach you how to paint a picture. Tonight was an antiqued music theme, and I think mine came out pretty good. Either way, I had a good time :) So...I'm just super excited to have the time to do some things that I like.
